Getting To and From Boston Logan Airport

Logan Express
Express bus service is offered as an alternative to driving to and from Logan. Communities served are Braintree (south), Framingham (west), Peabody and Woburn (north). Full-service bus terminals and secure parking are available at each location. Logan Express stops at all terminals. Scheduled times for departing Logan are shown for Terminal A. Departure from other terminals is a few minutes later. Travel time is approximately 30-45 minutes. Be sure to allow extra time during rush hours.

The Silver Line's route SL1 (Logan Airport - South Station via Waterfront) bus rapid transit service available at Boston Logan, is your best direct connection to and from South Station, (Red Line subway and South Shore / Metro West commuter rail services). With drop off and pick up in front of Logan terminals, it is also a convenient service to and from: The Boston Convention and Exposition Center; Seaport World Trade Center; Moakley Federal Court House; South Boston Waterfront; Chinatown; The Theatre District; The South End; Dudley Square. Direct connection to and from Boston Logan Airport and South Station (Servicing the Commuter Rail, Greyhound, Amtrak and Peter Pan Bus Lines) on the MBTA Red Line via the Waterfront. Signs directing you to the proper boarding location for either the Silver Line or Blue Line are in all terminals.

MBTA Subway
Take the MBTA Blue Line to and from the newly renovated Airport Station and board free Massport shuttle buses to all airline terminals and the water transport dock for water transport service.. The Blue Line is your best connection to and from the MBTA Orange and Green Lines at Government Center Station.

Logan Shuttle
Massport provides complimentary shuttle bus service between airline terminals at the arrival levels, Airport Atation on the MBTA Blue Line, the Water Transportation Terminal and Economy Parking. Massport shuttle bus service operates seven days per week.. All shuttle buses are wheelchair lift equipped.
